BBQ & Beyond

Purpose

The BBQ and Beyond Program serves as the Foundation's signature fundraising and community engagement program by bringing people together through food, fellowship, music and Texas traditions. The program generates financial support for the Foundation's charitable mission while promoting community involvement and celebrating the spirit of Texas.

Objectives

  • Conduct fundraising events that support the Foundation's charitable programs.
  • Promote community engagement through food-centered events and entertainment.
  • Build relationships with sponsors, donors, volunteers and community partners.
  • Increase public awareness of the Foundation and its mission.
  • Showcase Texas hospitality, culture and traditions.

Purpose

The Community Champions Program develops, equips and recognizes volunteers and mentors who strengthen communities through service, leadership, education and personal involvement.

  • Promote mentoring relationships.
  • Recognize outstanding volunteer service.
  • Encourage youth involvement in community service.

Texas Cares

Purpose

The Texas Cares Program provides compassionate assistance and charitable outreach to individuals, families and communities throughout Texas by addressing immediate needs, supporting recovery and improving quality of life through meaningful acts of service.

Objectives

  • Provide charitable assistance to individuals and families in need.
  • Support veterans, military members, first responders and their families.
  • Respond to community needs through outreach and service initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships that strengthen local communities.
  • Encourage compassion through community involvement.

  • Provide educational opportunities that strengthen individuals and families.
